I bought them for my mt. bike and skis before a cross country trip and I wish I had gone with a Yakima instead. The crossbar installation is pretty easy, but no real quality bike racks are offered (compared to the Yakimas) and the ski rack is just OK. I couldn't even trust the Audi bike rack (which is a Thule) to hold by bike tightly in place so I had to leave it behind.

I've got the Thules that I have been using for the last decade+, but don't know if they can be adapted to the Audi rails. Do the Yakima bars bolt to the Audi rails? A solid bike rack is a big concern.
