Default Any S4's running Toyo Proxes 4's?

Tried to get a set of PZero's M+S, they seem to be out of stock everywhere. The Proxes 4 look good, just wondering if anyone has had personal experience with these....

And I cannot get dedicated winter tires as I have no place to store... so save your breath please.

Do a search in this forum - a couple of folks have them and seem to like them.

Default I had them on my S6 Avant last year for winter use.

Dry performance was pretty good. They would squeel in hard cornering much more than a performance tire would but held the road well and would break away predictably.

Wet (rain/slush) performance was great. Snow performance was better than I thought. Quattro & ESP makes a big difference here. I was able to go through some pretty deep stuff (I live in Utah) with no complaints and with confidence. I felt some slippage where if I had dedicated snows I probably wouldn't have.

Overall, a pretty good compromise for an all season if you only use one set of tires. The thing to keep in mind, if you drive them hard in the summer, your tread life may be significantly lower by the next winter and the tires will probably not be as good in the snow the 2nd time around.

Default Thanks - I will post a review later this week on the Proxes 4's....

The S4 is a daily driver - no track - no street racing. I cannot live through another winter on the Conti's, and I've had too many issues with michelins in the past to consider them for that kind of $$$.

There is a 500 mile tryout - If they are horrible, I will put the stockers back on and wait for the Pirelli's to be made... Spoke to the installer about this, they will charge for mounting and balancing, and will hold the old tires for two weeks (I drive about 300 miles per week).
