Default Any way to add an input to the radio?

Has anyone added an ipod to their radio by any means OTHER than a FM modulator?

I was wondering if there is anyway to use the SAT input and some creative wiring skills.

Default I have my PDA plugged into the sat inputs so voice commands come through the speakers.

I have a clever "black box" made by a friend but I'm not sure if it would work for the IPod as it detects sound and then this triggers the head unit to lower the volume of the radio (or CD).

For my PDA based SatNav it's perfect but I don't think that it's any good for an Ipod.

I know someone else who in there TT had a switch that swapped the CD audio inputs to a Ipod input but it was a homemade fix.

Default Aux External CD port in back of radio

you can use the tape adapter or you can pull the radio and plug it into the back and control your ipod from the radio controls. search this forum for the info on how to do it. it does cost about $300 at the end of the day. keys to pull radio
IceLink 1.0 for the ipod
Sound booster for back of radio.

this methiod allows you to still use your in dash cd changer but not a external additional changer.

Search the audio forum and classifieds. Jeff Bipes markets a system which hooks the Ipod in place of the trunk CD changer.
