That, and so many of us "enjoying" our creative throttles are still on stock programming.

Default Yup, different map for when clutch pedal is down or up. If you're off the pedal, throttle response

is even worse.

That is why for when I have to double clutch to rev match back into first for instance (double clutching is a lot easier and faster to get into first when cruising along at 10mph than to just revmatch) you have to start the blip when you're still on the throttle, to actually get it going! Very lame, but eh...I deal with it now.

Default I find that to rev match I need to tap the throttle then blip...and when slowing down for a light

I get the 2krpm hang a bit

Default my revo programming has helped the issue..

ie, it doesn't do it that often anymore..

Though it does occur on occasion..

Default Not being an a$$, but I highly doubt it. I took part in the development process of REVO.

They developed the updated software based on my dyno runs, etc...

Throttle is quicker to react, but only once the map tells the ECU that "throttle is open" etc.

Go try this out. Go cruise, put the car in neutral, get off teh clutch so you're just coastin in neutral

stomp on the gas pedal very fast and release. As fast as you can go.

No blip? WTF? Even mercedes has a slight blip.

Do the same while in GEAR TOO! Even more disappointing.

Default I agree...not being able to rev-match consistently is really f'cking annoying...

I bought a car with a manual transmission so that I could enjoy such activities.

Default Sia...a question for you since you are aware of this issue...

Am I imagining it, or are these DBW throttle issues at all weather dependent? Seems like the warmer and dryer the air, the more smooth and consistent the throttle response.
