anybody heard about "pop radar"? can a V1 detect it?

I don't think pop mode is valid for issuing tickets. I think the pop gun switches to ka instant on after detecting a speeder to try and get a reading that will hold in court.
Then again, if you get a pop ticket, contest and make sure the cop was sitting somewhere he could get a visual history of where you got nailed.

I've been hit once with POP by GA state trooper - absolutely no warining from my V1
He gave me a warning, though - it's nice that troopers here are actually more concerned with traffic safety than revenue generation, unlike the friendly city policemen with laser guns.
