Anybody's quattro "binding" getting worse? I am at 27K KM and it is BAD.

more noticable the more you accellerate as the torsen diff apportions the "torque" as necessary. there is no binding when coasting.

and then when you straighten out it feels like everythings "hooked" back up and you have full power?

Hey, I know what your talking about. I usually feel it when I am taking off from a stop and making a sharp left-hand turn (like at a stop sign). I have had the car since last November and just started noticing it. I'm not sure if it has always done it or not, and I'm not sure that it means anything is necessarily wrong either. It does feel kinda like an old 4wd ford truck. If I had to guess I would say it is the rear diff that is locking. Is there any good writeup on the algorithms that quattro uses when deciding on where to send power?

I thought it was the combo of more torque down low and 40 series tires.
Did you just switch wheels\tires ?
It seems pretty aggressive to me now and I don't know why that would increase ?
I have been told it's a combo of the abs system sensing large speed differentials between wheels and inherent quattro reactions to such differences.
But it was told to me via the B5 forum so I don't know if it's true.
