Put my deposit down 2/1, filled out an order May 1, but I was #11 on the list at Carousel
in Minneapolis.
Hoping to see it within 6 weeks. I checked Audi ditribution yesterday and it's built, awaiting inspection.
I feel your pain.

Yes, was waiting on Avant allocation, now its on boat and running 2 weeks ahead of schedule !
So delivery is set for 11/4 but that was based upon the original date and now its 2 weeks ahead, so we will see if it stays ahead.

#1 on waiting list for about a year, placed order with dealer (Cavender in San Antonio) in May, and no car yet. I find it unbelievable that Basil in Gainesville,FL can get a car before San Antonio (unless he got it through Orlando or Jax). However, my car is on the boat due to arrive first week of Oct.

I gave up when they said "December, earliest."
Otherwise, I'd still be waiting. Dealer STILL hasn't even got an allocation that would have allowed my order to be built. All I wanted was a white, tip S4 Avant. What's so darned tough about that?

I just got mine 2 weeks ago and believe me, when you hear that engine you will be glad you waited. It is the finest sounding thing you have ever heard. Not to mention that audi have improved every single component over the old S4. I was bored with my chipped '01 S4 and I can barely believe this is the same model. Its the finest car Audi have ever built.
