I for one, like to park in spots where there's no one on either side (in the back of the parking lot, etc), or park next to the dividers so theres only one side where somebody can park next to me. If it comes down to parking inbetween two cars I try to look for spots were both people parked near perfectly and I have enough room to get out, and they have enough room to get in (to try to avoid door hitting). Most people dont give a **** about what you drive, wether it be a $5k beater, or its a $100k Porsche (somebody slammed their door into my moms 996 C4 once, wish I coulda found that person). So basically I don't trust most people when it comes to parking... anyone else like this?

so they certainly don't care about my property. I'm always looking for a "safe" spot. It's my other insurance policy (i.e., risk avoidance). I just do my best and hope for the same. On busy shoppin' days, I take my wife's car :-),

I was parked in a parking lot that was pretty empty beyond a certain point. When I got back, I found said Expedition parked next to me on the driver's side. There were probably a billion or so other empty spots. It wasn't unusually close or anything, but even parked perfectly, there was not that much room between doors. I felt like leaving a note on his windshield that said, "WTF???"

They always ask me "wtf? why park all the way out here?" I'm tired of explaining it to 'em so I just stare at them, then get out of the car.... always annoys them.
