all the people i know who park like jackasses (across 2 spots, miles away, etc) are the ones who are always bitching about their latest ding or dent.

no matter how hard I try to stay away from other parked cars, there always seems to be one parked RIGHT next to me when I reappear from wherever I went. There's no escape. I've had my B7 for 2 months now and thankfully nobody has door slammed or keyed it. I guess I attribute most of it to new car paranoia, but with my S4 I fear that it may not wear off. I'm eyeing the 2008 RS6 as my next car, I guess I'd better keep the S4 for trips to the store cuz I know I'm not going to want to park that RS6 anywhere except when I'm gassing up or at home.

I snap pictures of the cars license plats with the phone if i estimate it to be a dangerous spot.
