I've seen one for a B5, but nothing for our cars.

Default THe parrot was a pain in the ***. all i know (being that I had someone intall for me) is...

In order to use the auto mute feature and to have the call go through your speakers you have to run the cables to the trunk where the amp is and then back again up to the front.

Took the guys about an hour and a half (once I found someone who knew what they were doing.

Parrot works great though!

you didn't have to run the wires to the rear. There's access right behind the HU.

Default Audi handsfree adapter harness part numbers

You can use www.handsfreewanted.com as a reference. Although it's VW-centric there is good information for download.

Equivalent to the VW handsfree adapter harnesses for the radios, there are Audi parts as well for handsfree adaption.

The Audi radio adapter part numbers are:
8D0 051 434 for vehicles that still have an Ignition signal at the radio, and
8E0 051 434 for vehicles that don't have the Ignition signal at the radio.

These harnesses will not work in the D3/A8, and the C6/A6. They should work for the current A4, A3, TT, and the past D2/A8, allroad, etc. They will work with vehicles with the Symphony 2 radio, and most Symphony 1 radios should also work (although there might be an exception here and there...not sure). I, personally, have done installs in two B6/A4's with Symphony2 radios, TT with Concert radio, and two C5/A6's with Symphony1 radios.

I also run the Motorola IHF1000 in my 2005 VW GTI VR6, my dad's 2003 VW Golf and my mom's 2001 VW Jetta Wagon. The Voice Recognition dialing, system control and setup is a plus.
