Default Anyone having problems with the driver's floor mat not staying in place?

One of the plastic retentive clips is no longer very retentive. Causes the mat to slide foreward. Any quick fix ideas or do I have a chance of having it replaced under waranty?

Default just have it replaced under warrenty....

no reasons to screw around with it. It could become a safety hazard.

Default btw is this the part in the mat or the floor having the issue....,

if its the mat then your not gonna get anything. But if its the floor then they will fix it. I thought it was the floor one in my post.

Default I tried to see how the driver side mat would clip into the passenger side plastic clips and

There is not hardly any retention on that side either. How hard is it to replace the plastic posts?I know that would be a waranty issue and the mats would be a safety issue. I remember previous posts about recall of mats?

Default When did we all become so wimpy that sliding floor mats are a safety hazard?

Geez, what did you people do before floor mats had retention hooks?!?!

95% of the cars on the road do not have retention hooks; those cars' drivers simply pull the floor mat back if it starts to slide forward, and we don't have cars wildly slamming into things all over the place because their floor mats got in the way...

That having been said, of course you should get it fixed as a warranty issue, but it's not like it's a major safety issue...

Default why do you think audi pulled the Sport Mats....

issues in the retaining clip allowed them to slip under the pedals. Im saying if you want it fixed treat it as a safety issue and audi will fix it. Thats all. If you approach it as astetic your gonna have to beat on them a bit.
