anyone here use Mobil One 15w50?.......it does

I've used it during the summer months only (low temp like 60 deg F). That's my argument - it is
better than 10w-30 dinocrap dealers put in, if you go by the viscosity numbers on the spec sheets from the M1 website for cold start viscosity. The only problem is that it may void your warranty if you let the dealer know, but if you are changing your oil more often than the included oil changes from Audi Advantage, then no one ever needs to know. It's good stuff for engine protection, you will lose maybe 1/2 - 1 mpg running that vs 0w-40. Many B5er's run it (as I'm a B5er myself).

If you're intent on using Mobil1 then use...
the 0W-40 weight. You're doing your engine no extra benefit by using the 15W-50 weight and you are actually robbing some power by making the oil pump work harder and making the engine operate inefficiently w/ the more viscous weight. You want a weight that provides good protection @ the thinnest viscosity. Go w/ a 5W-40, 0W-40 or 0W-30 oil. Motul, Pentosynth, Catstrol syntec, Redline and Amsoil all have these, although the latter two aren't on the list; they are, however, exceptionally good. Splurge and get some of the right weight. Your engine will spin better w/ the thinner oil that provides the best protection. Thats why racers qualify w/ the 0W-30 weight. But I'm sure you know all this.

It's a waste. A 5W-40 weight synthetic will take anything you can throw at it...
look at the specs, thy're almost the same but they pump different. Mobil! and the others will tell you 0W-30 (if applicable) is fine for +100 degree weather.
