Default Let me ask you this

How often do you go through tires? Mine last about 18 - 24 months. Even at twice that lifespan it's hardly enough time to worry about them deteriorating. I'd also argue that sunlight can deteriorate the outside faster than oxidation deteriorates the inside.

Default I'm just trying to think up reasons why it might be a good idea

But I'm not losing any sleep over mine having air in them. I KNOW I'm going to wear mine out before the O2 gets a chance to have any detrimental effect

Default Yes. All my wheels/tires have nitrogen.

Over here it's common and surely doesn't cost $20.00. I still need to check pressure monthly and as indicated below for the states, speeds, and life of performance tires it may not be worth it. It's just a little added security.
