*flame suit on*

it was 2:30 AM and a deserted road so I don't wanna hear it.

Default Well....

He just paced me. I was in the express lanes heading northbound and he must've been sitting on the right shoulder of the local truck lanes and saw me fly by. I had to slow down for construction and he must've caught up. He said he followed me for 15 miles. No electronics can save me from that. Just better eyes. Normally I probably would've just outrun him if it wasn't for the construction.

Default I'm not from NJ, but...

If I'm not mistaken, if you have a New York State drivers license and get a ticket out of state, you just pay the fine and the points do not go on your license. This came directly from the mouth of a rep at the NYS DMV (yes, during working hours). I inquired about this because I got a speeding ticket in Florida (I also have a NYS lecense), and was told that the points do not carry over to your NYS drivers license. I'd recommend calling the DMV yourself to confirm this, but I'm just adding my $.02. Best of luck.

Default FYI..all the NJ State troopers are now relying heavily on X band (more)

as they have figured out that many of us turn off X due to the false alarms and the "antiquity factor". Got lit up nearly ten times on one trip to PA last week (Route 80 West to PA) - all of them on the X band. Needless to say X is back on.
