Default they're high performance brakes, they're gonna squeak sometimes!

I have people complain about brake squeak with stoptechs sometimes, it's just a fact of having good brakes with high performance street pads. When the pads are cold sometimes under light braking they're going to squeak. Porsches, Ferraris, etc do it too, it's kind of something you just have to live with.

Default a good way to "fix it"

warm your brakes up by giving them a nice "beating" Speed up to 30-40mph and do a hard stop, or just brake later and harder when you're coming to a stop.

Default They've been warm each time. It's really surprising when it squeaks, totally unexpected

I'd be driving, stop, just barely let go of the brake and SQUEAK! It's totally preventable, so I'm not worried at all.

Default Is Brake Quiet any good?

I don't know how high of a quality of product they make but I have heard them recommended before.

Default Pads for street = quiet Pads for track use = squeaking

It's a law handed down by God

I think carbon fiber brakes will not squeak in street use and will take track use.

Default Happened to me as well. "Bedding" the pads should take care of it.

Follow this link......just ignore the Bimmer but follow the advice. ;-)<ul><li><a href="http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm">Bedding brake pads</a></li></ul>
