Default Anyone test drive a Chrysler 300C? or see the SRT8

I know it is not in the same class as a S4, but they do offer it in all wheel drive and it has 340hp and i think 390 trq so it maybe an option for me.
Does anyone know if the SRT8 will have awd?

I love how these cars look and was not aware that they offered AWD until today so now I am thinking this may be a possibility too.

Default Yea...a lot of companies are coming out with AWD and powerful cars. I guess the only thing that will

make people get an Audi is if in fact they are Audi fans or are used to and prefer the brand (with all other things being "equal"). When I researched this topic about a year and a half ago, the only cars I found that were this quick and AWD were the Evo, Sti, and some volvo (I think.) The choices are increasing.......will be very interesting to see how this shakes down in a year or 2.

American car interiors are always what stop me from considering them. But, that SRT8 does sound nice

It drives like a big boat. If you want an American muscle car I would get a new GTO.

That or if they want to be like me.

Default Had one as a rental car with V6

The car was slow as hell with the V6. It is a great looking car on the outside and the new SRT8 with 425hp is going to be awesome for the money, but it does not come with AWD so far. Chrysler is saying they are only going to make 10,000 units a year so you can bet on paying over the 40K sticker for that one at first. The thing comes stock with 20" rims. The rental car I drove got a ton of attention. The big complaint I had was the steering was way over boosted not to mention the couch it came with for seating. Could be exclusive to the low end model. At SEMA in Vegas this was the car to make over and there were some very good looking ones on hand. It is tempting to get the SRT8 for 40K and put another 10K in mods and you have one sick STRAIGHT LINE car. Go ahead and rant about the handling and brakes. Who cares when you put the pedal to the metal on a straight away in a giant american car. Just like the old days of american iron.

Default Here is exactly why they are so popular..........

Average Joe's Bentley. They even sell aftermarket grills and headlight covers to give the Chrysler that poser look.

Now look at this grill upgrade.

Default Check out this custom 300C from SEMA

The wheels were so big on this car they had to cut out part of the back seat and the tires were poking through with no fender.
