Default I used to use it when I raced karts. Can't say I noticed a large difference in temp...

...though I was told by everybody else that it "droppped it by ten degrees."

Default Last time I mixed it with G12 coolant, it turned the coolant a dark brown in color. They don't seem

to get along very well.

First, some background on WW. Water Wetter is simple in how it works, and why it works- it eliminates a large amount of the surface tension in water. Surface tension leads to bubbles, bubbles coat the coolant passages, air is a poor conductor of heat. Eliminate the bubbles, increase the efficiency.

Thing is, G12 coolant has all sorts of of neat additives. I think a surface tensioner aid is already in it, it doesn't tend to froth much at all. It's good stuff. Don't mess with perfection. :P For what it costs, it damn well better have a bottle of water wetter in every gallon.

Default its not necessary unless you race and and coolant is banned.

your cars thermostad is programmed to run a certain temperature. WW wont overcome this design feature of the engine managment system . WW is made to mix straight with water - this would void your warranty.

It works great actually. I use it on the roadrace track in my 500hp mustang. It provides all the anti-corrosion properties that I need, we're not allowed to run coolant on most tracks, just pure water + WW.

Default I hate to go here again, but whomever mixed it and had it go brown had some other problem. WW alone

will not cause any problems with G12 coolant. It may not exhibit any appreciable gains at a 50/50 coolant mix, but it will not cause any problems. 2 VAG vehicles with G12 coolant and absolutely no problems or unusual behavior due to the WW. The dye used in the WW is the same dye used in G12, btw.
