Default Anyone weigh the optional 18" 5-arm wheels?

And how much do the stock avus wheels weigh? I'm assuming the optional rims won't be much lighter if at all.

Default Replacing mine with 19"s, too bad it was a no choice option...

Was told my car is coming with the optional wheels anyway... ugh $450 for wheels that will only be on the car for about 1-2hrs of my ownership, my 19"s and tires show up Wednesday.

Do me a favor and weigh the optional rims when you swap 'em.

Default I will, but the car will only be showing up in ~ 2 weeks...

The 19's I bought are 26.5 lbs each, so it will be interesting to see how much the optional OEM 18's weigh.

Default ASA AR1 19x8.5 Silver/Pol. Lip w/ Good Year DS-G3s...

My friend Patrick has them on his B6 S4, and I like them. They are made in partnership with BBS, so they can't be too crappy. Also ~ $160 a piece at tire rack cost...

I couldn't bring myself to spending 1200 a rim for HRE or Iforged... plus I've never had aftermarket wheels before, so they'll be "training wheels", so I learn to keep them clean. I'm sure I'll get a "nicer" (read more expensive) set in a year or so.

Default I like them

Will you put a Audi cap on them? They certainly have a BBS look. And only $160 a pop...?

Default Thanks...

I might if the Audi cap fits...

They sell for ~ $250 a piece on Tire Rack, but I have a friend who is a Tire Rack dealer, and got them for a lot less.

The wheels are actually "licensed" by BBS, hence the BBS look. They aren't forged though...

I really like a few Iforged wheels and the HRE 540Rs as well, so maybe next year
