Has anyone tried the audi navigation plus system in their S4? Or period? They have an site for it at www.nav-plus.com. I am ordering a 2005 S4 Cab in tip and was having a hard time finding a black/black with red interior with everything. I was thinking of getting one without the nav and adding this navigation plus as it seems like a much better system...

the Nav system is very basic no maps just a arrow.

I wanted to know about the Navigation Plus. The new one that is an option on the euro-spec cars. There is a company importing them now.. wanted to know if anyone tried one in a new S4...

I just put an order for an 05(.5) S4 cab w/ full screen dvd nav...

<center><img src="http://www.nav-plus.com/images/audi_navplus.jpg"></center><p>I spoke with the dealer and he informed me the current audi nav in the '05 cab is the same one they had. It only has the screen in the dash. The audi nav plus has the large screen on the right hand side.

See pic from the nav-plus site posted below. All the '05 S4 cabs I have seen have had the small one in the dash.. none had the large nav plus stock. If you can order it that way then I may go that route.. Let me know pls.

Yeah, I waited to order my S4 Cab until I knew a full screen DVD nav system was coming out. About a week after I saw the last post linked below, I went to the dealer and put in an order for one using the same exact order sheet.

The fact that the cabs are not as popular and are receiving different features (for now) than the sedans and avants has led, I think, to confusion amongst dealers as to what exactly is offered by Audi. However, there is no doubt that a full-screen DVD nav is coming on s4 cab this year. As for when, my dealer claimed 90 days from my order, which I highly doubt. I think it's more likely to arrive sometime around May (just in time for summer!) as I don't believe production has actually started on them. Incidentally, i ordered ebony pearl/black with red interior myself.

As you can see, I spent A LOT of time in the past figuring this exact same question out. Hope this helps you.
