The new black Alcantara option on the S4 looks pretty sweet. Hopefully Audi adds that as an option to the RS4 because I love the Alcantara on my S4 right now, and that would seal the deal on getting an RS4. It's strange that the S6 and S4 Cabriolet aren't able to be configured yet, but all other models including the S8 can be. I'm curious as to what the black Alcantara really looks like in real life, so does anyone have an 07 with it or have one on order?

I've always been a big supporter of black/black since I first saw it on audi.de years ago
Add the carbon fiber trim and you have a great three-tone black interior imo!

My 2005 B7 S4 has black Alcantara. That photo doesn't do justice to the black/black combo, it looks fantastic in real life. Originally I was going to get all-leather seats but after seeing the black Alcantara the decision was very easy for me. Alcantara is also quite a bit more comfortable than leather - especially in winter.

This was a birthday present from a friend. Looks absolutely horrible, doesn't it!

This makes me ever more anxious. I ordered my S4 back in June (put $10,000 down on it) and I still have yet to hear of a delivery date.
All I know is that my car is "in production" according to the dealer.
Who knows. I'm guessing this is normal - Yes? If any of you know otherwise please speak up. But I'm guessing that the 2007 cars are still just trickling in and that is why my car is taking so long to arrive.
As for Alcantera I couldn't find that as an option when I ordered the car.
