Avoid Shokan> Another supplier who has gone south.
I purchased a center console, to replace mine that had a scratch on the passenger side. They quoted me $115 and $15 shipping. After placing the order, they called me two days later indicating a need to charge me another $50 for shipping. I agreed. My mistake.
They shipped out a part that had not been cleaned, had scratches all over and had a broken top tab. I contacted them immdiatley, and I even sent them pictures. This despite a promise of clean parts that are in good condition. And they indicated that "all center consoles have scratches".
They will give me a refund, if I ship it back and I pay for the shiping. Last time I ever buy from them again.

Yeah... that sucks. I pretty much avoid used parts. New is $103ish
You shoulda checked genuineaudiparts.com or riverside for new...

lol I have frequently seen junkyards demand more than new prices :P
they deserve to be raped and half-eaten by wild dogs. Half eaten but still alive so they can watch the wild dogs run away with half of their flesh in their bellies. Not kidding :P

I criticized Force 5 and then had an Independent Audi Repair Tech mention it to me lol
They apparently all read up on these forums. Junking cars is a messy business, but you would expect Shokan to run a high overhead business compared to ratty old Force 5. Guess they are both about the same

Sounds pretty standard to me, it wasn't like it was new right?
The next time you return something from Wal-Mart ask them to pay for the gas you wasted coming back to make the return lol
What are "serious scratches" is deff different from one person to another right? Maybe you guys miss communicated?
As far as the costs, idk if you've ever worked at a yard before but you're paying for the salary of the guys to pull it, packaging which isnt free (not like reusing boxes and bubble wrap like we all do at home) and what it costs to buy land, pay taxes, and constantly buy cars you have to guess people want, not a business i'd want to be in!
