Default Avus wheels on an A4

i got a b6 2004.5 a4 with sport 17" i believe they're ET 45 7.5(or 7)/17 planning to put Avus s4 rims which are 8/18 ET 45, now i did some math and its 6-8mm less(could be off ha).. would it look ugly enough to put spacers.. would it look somewhat flush with fenders.. im not sure.. i never dealt with spacers & trying ot avoid them, but im all about looks... and im bout to do this in the next couple of days.. any help is apperiated.

Default Since they are the same offset but your A4 wheels are .5" less in width....

the S4 wheels will stick out 1/4" more then your current wheels. Will 1/4" satisfy you? not likely if you want them flush with the fender. I have a set of ET35 wheels that are 8.5" wide and those are flush with the fenders. That means they stick out 1/4" more then the Avus wheels + another 10mm. So a 10mm spacer on the Avus wheels will get you close to flush with the fenders but still a bit off (especially in the rear as there is more room back there).

Default well would .5" really show?

there's a ET calculator on www.1010tires.com and according to that, its 6mm difference, does that make a difference/show?

Default It will look more pushed out then your current stock wheels.

It will not look flush with the fenders. Currently, your rear tires must look SUPER "pushed in". It will look better then it does now - that is fir sure. If you try it and don't like it, order 10mm spacers.
