Default B & B v Milltek cat-back expansion

Anyone have the B & B cat-back? I've heard/seen the MIlltek on other cars and it seems to expand and contract 2-3 inches...must be using crappy tubing. Also, the quality seems so-so. Would like the SuperSprint (awesome quality and sound...had it on my M3), but can't find S4 exhaust in the U.S. I know Milltek seems to be the default...but looking for other options. Thermal? AWE?

How come no one ever mentions that the stock exhaust expands too?

Default ummmm your wrong.....

All exhausts will expand. The way the S4's is setup you get a good ammount of expansion. When you increase the size of the pipe it will expand even more. Every S4 exhaust I have seen expands. Depending on how you fit it, the appearence will be different. They all expand and the quality of the Milltek is 10 times that of any exhaust I have seen thus far.

Default Milltek is the way to go...

I notice the expansion on the S4 but it is not big deal. For some reason, my R32 does not expand quite as much. Doesn't matter to me either way. The setup is great!

Does milltek really expand 2-3 inches? My custom exhaust is nowhere near that.

Default no less then 2 inches at most...

Ive seen it vary from exhaust to exhaust (mainly install related). Wes's that its tucket high up and very tight in, with the position of the hangers only expands about an inch at most, where as mine will go about an inch and a half. Seems its mostly install related.

Default Anyone know if Abt makes a catback exhaust, too.....

They recently announced making one for the A6C6 4.2
(with 4 exhaust tips) so, parhaps, they already have one for the S4B6 4.2.

If so, has anyone installed one, what does does it sound like and how's its quality???

I have B&B and it doesn't expand near what the Milltek does. about an inch at most.
