Sounds good. So when is your next track day?

Very nice Bob! Congrats! How does the handling compare (roll/nose dive)?

Default May 19 & 20 at New Hampshire. Never been there. It will be a huge...

learning curve for me...first time at track, upgraded brakes, tires, suspension, engine management... Im starting from scratch so I'll start low and slow. I can't forget that I'm driving an overweight piggie and I must keep this all in perspective...it's a German high-performance 4-door sedan. p

Default Hey Michel! Apparently very little roll and dive. This suspension tightens up...

what already is a great package from Audi. When I drove home from the tuners', I was thinking "when will I feel the harshness of the setup?" and it never happened. It feels silky smooth, planted like it's on rails...point the steering wheel and it follows. Love it...your fault too...lol. To think I almost went in another direction for coilovers.

Default Funny,.. I'll be doing the same thing at Thunderhill on May 19th...

in the afternoon, once you have warmed up to the cars new performance you should fill it up with 100 octane. You will really notice a difference.

Default for me, the lack of dive/squat was even more dramatic than the lack of body roll in turns..

Dunno if it's just a mental thing or not, but it seems to aid brake modulation immensely. (when my brakes are working happily).

Default Yes in my car it was huge. I went from chasing an M3 on the straights to passing him and pulling

away.

Default Tell me....

I don't see any engine management upgrades in your sig...you mean the 100 octane by itself was an improvement?

Default Yes. I found it hard to believe, but after 4 track events where I drove with and without 100...

I could definitely see the improvement on the long straights. Plus more pull out of the slower turns.

Jim.
