Thinking of going with the stasis sl system. Can you give me some feedback on how much harsher if any the suspension rides? stasis claims it is better then the oe ride.

Thanks, JLC59

Default The ride is silkier on smooth surfaces, and tight. My quote for the ride is...

ugly road, ugly ride. Again it's 'tight' so go from there. To put it in perspective, the oe spring rates are about 450# +/-, the Ohlins SL rates are 750# on the front and 1100# on the rear. If you have good roads, you're okay. I'm in Pennsy where most of teh roads suck at best. But this being said, I have what's expected...a track-worthy coilover system, a good looking stance and for the most part a silky ride when I can find a decent road surface. This is probably the best quality, purpose built kits made imo. You get what you pay for.

Okay thanks I appreciate the feedback. I live in NYC area so all the roads are horrible. I drove an o6 Stasis A4 with this suspension last week and it generally road better then my s4 with stock suspension. I guess in general though the A4 is a softer riding vehicle. I think I will go for it though, just put on 19 inch BBS RGR's which look great but their is just to much space for me in the wheel wells now.

You'll overlook the tightness of the ride when you enter you first entrance/exit ramp. )
