i appreciate all the help ...
but i thankfully found a dealer with a great 2004 low mileage dolphin grey example. at this point, i found that im in backwards with my trade, and this dealer - from whom my rents have purchased two cars in the past - gave me 3.5k more than any other dealer and is buying out my car for me, so ...

The Audi pedals don't feel that much different than my father in laws 996
I do the "heel/toe" the same way - like S4iowa said - roll the foot when on the brakes.

A nice non-resi exhaust for this car really makes a difference in terms of sound/note
I've been loving my AWE non-res and the amount of positive comments from random about it has been amazing.
