B6 S4 US EPA Fuel Economy Ratings: 18/22 Manual, 17/21 Tiptronic
Perhaps as high as 18/24 Manual 17/23 Tiptronic, or as low as 17/22 Manual, 16/21 Tiptronic, but in that range. Best guess based on the following current Audi models which utilize the 4.2L V8 engine:
A6 4.2 Tiptronic Quattro 300 hp 4024 lbs 17/25
S6 Avant 4.2 Tiptronic Quattro 340 hp 4024 lbs 15/21
A8 4.2 Tiptronic Quattro 310 hp 4068 lbs 17/25
S8 4.2 Tiptronic Quattro 360 hp 4068 lbs 16/21
Of course, the B6 S4 should be a bit lighter than these (say 3800 lbs), so the fuel economy should be a bit better.
A6 4.2 Tiptronic Quattro 300 hp 4024 lbs 17/25
