doubt it....first SHO was a yamaha v-6 rated at I think 230 hp
the most recent SHO was a v-8 but the hp wasnt that much more and it was heavier...SHO would be no competition for the B6 or B5 S4 unless modded and there wasnt that much out for that particular engine if I remember correctly

As someone who currently owns a B6 S4 (avant) and a '93 SHO, the SHO is not a real threat. Especially in the wet. But, the SHO is just as fast or faster than my 02 A6Q 3.0
