I'm been window shopping for a new (to me) Audi for a few months. This will be my 3rd Audi car, so I'm a little familiar with their little quirks, but have never owned a 4 series car. Drove an Audi 80 for a few years and I'm driving a 2001 A6 2.8 now.
I've loved the B7 styling from the beginning, but I prefer to buy my cars slighly used. I like fast cars but have never had the excess cash (that I didn't want to spend somewhere else) to own one of my own...but I'm almost there.
So to my question. Looking around ebay, I can get a B7 S4 for $15-25k (even saw one on craigslist locally for $13k a couple of days ago) depending on the year and milage....and plan an extra 9k for a PES stage 2 supercharger....so now we're in the same HP ballpark for an RS4 which is around $45-50k
So what are the other diferences besides power that justifies the $10-20k price diference (after purchasing the SC) in these two cars?

im not sure but i think the engine is different. i think the rs4 uses the same brembo brakes as the lambo nd i think it uses more carbon fiber in the interior nd stuff. again im not 100% sure tho. nd i think there r sum cosmetic diffs as well. a more sporty suspension nd things like that. like the s4 is the more beefy version of the a4, the rs4 is the even beefy more powerful version of the already beefy nd powerful s4.

The RS4 sports the same Dynamic Ride Control suspension as the C5 RS6 and also has RS4-specific front and rear quarter panels with wider wheel arches than the S4 to fit the RS4's wider 19x9 ET29 wheels. The S4 rolls on 18x8 ET43 wheels stock so if you'd want to run wider wheels on an S4 you're likely looking at getting some bodywork done to do so.
The RS4 also gets an even nicer set of Recaro sport seats compared to the S4.
