I raced my friend in his Ferrari Enzo from 0 - 155 (electronically limited) and I beat him every time! I'm not sure why everyone thinks it's so fast. Man, my car is amazing.

Dang it--i guess that is why they made the S4 then---just for the door blades and the badge
No bs...I do admit honestly that if a stock s4 runs a quater in say 13.6-13.8 and slightly modified a4 can run a quarter in 13.9-14.3 then it is obviously a close race and driver error and experience would play a big part.
For one i would not think an A4 is a fast as my car since mine is modified, but fairly i would admit that a modified a4 b7 which is lighter also would be able to catch up sooner or later.
I much rather have my v8 snarl that i have anyday and that is why i love my S4..And German V8's for that matter.

Off the showroom floor the S4 is faster, change either car and it's not..
an accurate comprison.
Of course you can mod the A4 but now you're not comparing two stock cars.
I think the only resonable conclusion in this (very tired) debate is the A4 is an easy car to mod and increase HP.
If someone wants to get hung up on the "my car is faster than yours so it must be better", I'll trade you a 69 VW Bug that will blow the doors off your A4 in a 1/4 mile.

I was debating between the b7 s4 or the a4 s-line fully equipped myself
before I bought the car recently. I love the v8 s4 sound don't get me wrong but I just wished Audi would make the s4 more poweful. Its a heavy car and IMO is underpowered. This is not a thread about how an a4 beat an s4 but how s4 owners are cocky and think they are untouchable by an a4. My friend was shocked how I pulled on him, he was talking thrash about him leaving me in the dust everytime and started laughing. Im happy I just put him back in his place.

I can't agee with you more Bob.
Audis are pigs in general. However, Audi lists the 2.0T at 200 hp but stock dynos show more crank hp about 220-230hp. Right now, I am debating whether to get an b7 rs4 or an m5 as a second car. Im leaning towards the m5 because i already got an Audi and would like to experience something different.
