Default Back seat removal?

Anybody know how to remove the back seat? I had a passenger this weekend who dropped one of her earrings into the gap around the seat belt anchor. I've pulled, tugged, and lifted on the rear seat, and even resorting to reading the manual, but no such luck.

Thanks in advance to anybody who can help. (Otherwise I might have to resort to my trusty wonder-bar.)

Default What were you doing back there to make the earring fall off??? Did you...

try folding the seats down? There's a hinge gap -- it may give you the access you need.

Default Just had mine out last night to anchor connectors for my harnesses.

All you need to do is pull up on the front edge of the seat. There are two "U" shaped rods about 1/4 inch thick that are stuck into plastic female inserts in the body pan. When I pulled mine out, one of the inserts came with the "U", but not a problem. Each connector is located at about the centerline of each seat, maybe 2-3 inches from the front. The back portion of the seat merely tucks under the seat backs.

It sounds like you may have an extraordinarily tight fit, but those two attachments are all that anchor the seat.

Yep, I'll be sending it back to a grateful owner. Thanks all.
