I realize this is more of a tire/wheel forum post, but I am looking for specific answers to the B6 S4. Thanks.
Any experience with fitting 20s on our car. I am definately purchasing a set of these for the spring and I am wondering about going with 20s. Am I nuts? Should I just stick with 19 x 8.5s? I am aware of ride quality/ bent rim consequences with big rims.
Speaking of ride quality, any input on ride quality from 19s?
Also, I think tireracks current price on the 19x5s is $1050, any other reccomendations?
Anyways, enough questions, any input appreciated.
pics would be cool too.

he were to do it again he wouldn't have gone above 19". A girl on here (SBGirl) runs 20" sportecs and seems to like them but it is unnecesarry, IMO. It looks sick, no doubt, but it's too much. It's a heavy car and you'll beat the **** out of your rims. The BBS RS-GT are probably one of the best forged wheels out there but still. You'll sacrifice ride quality, have what amounts to a rubber band protecting your rims and your performance will suffer to some extent. Stick w/ 19 x 8.5.

Hehe, im in Boston, king of potholes. Im considering 20's just for looks, and mostly, im interested in if its been done before. I realize the possibility of bent rims is huge. In terms of performance gains what issues are you addressing? Thanks for the input.

Your 19 LMs look quite nice. Your Nogaro made me consider the LMs over the RS-GT. However I feel the RS-GT will suit my taste for my Nogaro. 19 is still very big, have you had any issues with your LMs? Thanks for the input!

wheels. The LM's have an offset of 32 (very aggressive) and I'm also dropped and I haven't had any rubbing issues at all. I had the toughest time deciding between the LM's and the RS-GT's. They are both my favorite wheels. The looks are awesome (every other maker bites of these two designs) and BBS quality is second to none. I had to have the wheel vendor choose for me because I literally could not make up my mind. I'd have been just as happy w/ either. You will never have to worry about quality w/ BBS. Everything is perfect and only the best stuff is used. I saw a set of iForged a few weeks ago and the rivets were rusting and the claercoat was peeling all over. Thanks for the compliment, BTW. The diamond black will look awesome on nogaro. It is such a hot finish. Did you see thre nogaro w/ the RS-GT's in the shootour article? If not, I can email a few pics to you.

The bigger tires, again more weight. All this adds up to more unsprung weight for the suspension to control. It also affects acceleration and deceleration, worst of all it is rotational mass. Another problem you may encounter is the choice of tire brands available in that size (20") and the size that are available within a specific brand. Although money doesn't seem to be a factor here, both wheels and tires in that size will be more expensive to buy.
