riding with my daughter and I was talking when she started saying hole, Hole, HOLE, HOLEHOLEHOLE...then wham on the front and a corresponding wham on the back. The hole didn't look that deep, but I sure won't be off in La La land from now on. Glad I opted for the 18" instead of the 19" wheels. This little deal will cost me $900.00, plus an alignment. I thought that the BBS's would have taken a shot like that and the tire would have given out first?
The only silver lining is that I carry a $250 deductable on my collision insurance and they will pay for a new pair according to my agent.
Saturday was a bad day

that sucks man. with a pothole and 19" with a 35 series tire it's hard not to bend a rim. when I lived in PA I used to go through a set of rims a year from potholes
