Anyone have experience with Bernardi and Clair (both sales and service)?

Default I took my B5 to clair once...

they were OK. I had a tranny issue at the time and they took forever to diagnose and repair. But I'm sure for scheduled service, they would be fine. I've also heard GREAT things about Ira.

My old 90 from from Bernardi... service was so-so.

Heard good things about Clair, in terms of service and overall experience.

My friend bought her A4 at Ira and HATES that place. Said she just had awful experiences there.

Brookline Audi/VW is decent. Nice gues, no frills, but they are pretty good. (Anyone notice that at Audi/VW dealerships that things aren't quite the same as going to a stand-alone Audi dealership?)

Default My two cents

Ira & Clair have both been good to me. I had an unpleasant sales experience with Bernardi, but that was a long time ago and may not be truly indicative of how they do business.

FYI - Clair is tearing down their showroom/service bays to expand. I can't imagine that their level of service will improve while working out of temporary quarters.

Default Kevin at Ira is definitely the best salesperson in the region

He helped me out a ton on my S4 purchase, even though Ira didn't end up having the specs I wanted. He's a straight shooter, will give you all the facts, and won't try to hide or sneak anything on you. And he knows the cars too, he's "one of us."

Ira Motor Group is in Danvers; Kevin Barkhouse's # is 978 739-8838.

Default Re: Kevin B is the man!

I take delivery of my Nogaro S4 Avant tomorrow. :stoked: Kevin has been a dream to work with. I live in Chicago and would definitely go out of my way to give him a sale.

Fantastic buying experience! He IS one of us.

Default Bernardi.........

Bernardi seems to get most cars, I got my S4 with no wait......in september. I called every single dealer in the north east, they had 2 cars available the color I wanted(silver). Everyone else was telling me 3-6 months. Also got my father a discounted RS 6 from them, Clair would not deal at all even thogh they had the RS6 on ebay?? My experiance was quick and easy, worked with Jeff Paulter, and the sales manager, very straight, no BS.
