The 2nd person said there WAS a difference in the photo ticket tag and the one that is on the bill. They are now going to go back to NJ DMV to see if there is a match for the "new"/correct tag number.
I just have to wait 2 weeks and will receive a call if there is a match and if I'm off the hook. Now I'm wondering why the first guy I talked to wanted me to fill out forms and submit additional information.
At any rate, there is a bug w/ the system they are using now and it's a bit scary what can happen w/ this system.

While I am not that political personally, all of this stuff is tarting to concern me. We seem to be losing individual liberties quickly (and I am not suggesting that speeding is a an individual liberty).

The one on the bill was for my allroad. I had purchased the S4 on Sept 24, the supposed ticket was on Oct 7th. I didn't turn in my allroad tags at that point, so it seems like they were still in the system as linked to me.

Back in 95 my mom got a letter in the mail from jersey city telling her she had an unpaid parking ticket they were going to revoke her driving privlidges etc. The ticket was back in Feb '94. The only problem was it was for a car that was my parents didnt buy until late April of 1994.(brand new never registered and with 8 miles on the clock) It was not even registered in their names until May of 94. Turns out jersey city sent out a bunch of fake tickets to raise funds for their personal accounts. The people behind the scheme all got nailed. The idea was to get a bunch of unsuspecting people to fork up cash for something that never happened.

this issue. Your credit is too important to screw around with. As long as you have someone working on it, you are ahead of the game.

Seems like they don't need cops anymore, so you wouldn't have to worry about speeding, going thru red lights, etc.
Pretty messed up isn't it.
