Default Black Trim Part 2

Thanks for the responses. Here's a photo with the exhaust. Unfortunately, It doesn't fit well enough because the guy who had it done didn't make sure that the tips fit in there flush and symmetrical. so I will need to take it in and have the pipes welded better. Probably will wait until I can have downpipes welded to them....

Anyway, a lot of you love the chrome, and that is the one thing I never liked. Some of you disagree with the blacked out look, but I'll bet that a lot of you would be a little more accepting if you saw it in person. Very subtle, and with the Dolphion gray color it blends well. All of the black matches (obviously) the other black features.

Thanks again for the comments. This forum is super helpful.

P.S. Put 100 octane in today at a measley $80 bucks, and man does the engine run cleaner!

Default How do you think it feels...

to grab the tips and try and to straighten it out every day? At least it's in the back I don't have to look at it when I'm driving. WHen they do get evened out it will look great.

Ok, now I need to get the downpipes sooner so I can fix this...$hit!

Default BTW...

This is the way I bought it. I would never have let it off the rack if the alignment looked like that...

Default Well........

It arrived from NY w/ all the trim painted including the mirrors; yet the guy didn't have it done right. He literally had it painted right over the chrome. So when it got here the paint was already chipping. Anyway, called and got a $500 refund for this and took it to a good auto body friend to have it done right.

I tried to order 1.8 replacement sill pieces, but they're not the same. So, the lower pieces are from the 1.8, and the rest is (unfortunately) sanded, etched and painted.

Black seems to be an either or thing with Audi. Some pictures of new RS4 are showing black window trim, no polished aluminum. I prefer the polished trim, but just slightly.

rexnfx3...I'm a new B6 S4 owner and new to this board. I'm thinking about a Milltek cat back system. Who did your install?
