Bluetooth compatibility
Can a few folks please post the phones (model # etc...) that are compatible with a 2007 with RNSE and Bluetooth. Don't want to use the cradle and want to have the phone book appear on my display.
I have the only Audi printout I can find. My problem is, work will pay for AT&T service, and I must buy the phone. I have not been able to get the two to match up yet.
I appreciate any responses.

I feel your pain...
I have a printout of all of the allegedly compatible bluetooth phones from Audi. There really aren't that many. However, I have a friend with an 07 A4 and both her and her husbands' phones work, and they are not on the list.
I really want to make sure that the address books transfer to my display, and that the voice activated calling works. With a manual transmission, this is very important to me.
Neither the phone people or Audi can assure me of compatibility.
Because my company will pay for the phone and service, I do not want to make a mistake. There is "no going back" once I make my selection.
It is great that I will get this all for no cost, I just can't be wrong once I make my selection.

I had a RAZR w/ Verizon and it worked great but I just got a Treo (also w/ Verizon) and..
the phone book doesn't show up on the display. This is really starting to aggravate me as I really enjoyed having access to the phone book in my car.

Motorola phones have worked perfectly for me
I have Verizon service and have been able to pair both my Motorola E815 and new Motorola V9m with the RNS E with no problem. Any new Bluetooth compatible phone should work, just follow the simple directions in the manual.

Unlocked Asian-market Nokia 6230i paired up flawlessly. Link to list of phones that work enclosed
For my phone, I didn't even need to read the manual. I did STFA and found the following link to a NavPlus.us thread about Bluetooth compatible phones. As another poster mentioned, Symbian OS phones do not work properly. HTH!

C lick here
