It works great but because my car has the Bose system, they had to add an amplified speaker for it to work.

2 hours later and a proper installation and my ck3100 works through my bose and i couldn't be happier.
I'm not going to lie. It took SIX stereo shops to finally get it done right however it works perfect through my bose. Hard wired all the way back to the amp in the rear and all the way back up.
My radio mutes. I hear callers through the speakers and the parrot interface was installed in a slightly better location with the mic installed along the pillar.

i'm no huge advocate of talking and driving, however, cell phones have become both a necessity and a way of life - especially for those of us that need to maintain client contact at all times.
don't bother to get a handsfree, even though it's the law in many states (and should be in every one)?
better that when a true emergency call comes in, he needs to take his hands off the wheel / shift **** in order to speak?
or do you ignore the emergency calls you get, simply out of some misguided principle of teutonic driving purity?
"sorry that i couldn't answer the phone when the house was being robbed before, dear, i was too busy clipping an apex on my commute home. next time call me after turn 5, and i'll pull over to talk."
someone wants to make the whole driving and talking thing more safe, and you flame them.
you're an idiot.

I just bought the ck3100 and have a 2001 A4 w/ bose. I live in the Westchester, NY area and would love some suggestions of places with audi and parrot experience to install this.
Like A4tooS4 I have called a ton of places none of which seem to know anything about audis. Ideally they could wire it from the trunk area where phone connections to the stereo already appear to exist.
Could anyone suggest a place in my area to install this? If not are there any tips others have used to find a competent installer?
Thanks!
