brake light issue

brake light issue
i had a problem when cornering hard initially with the red brake light flashing, and was told it could be the brake fluid and i had that topped off and now the light occurs more frequently at random times ,like while driving down highway around 70-80mph and some other random times, any idea's? 2004 S4

Re: Are you sure it's the brake light and not the system letting you know ESP has engaged?
it is the red brake light flasing 3 times and beeping like when your gas is low. and it happens randomly, when would the esp engage? and what happens when it does?
