Brake Pad Upgrade S4 ?????
I want to get some high performance brake pads for my 04 S4 that can take some track time but are also streetable in cold temps. The brands that I am most familiar with - Performance Friction and Hawk dont seem to make pads to fit the car.
What are people using?? And where can I get them? Thanks much.

Get Carbotech
I've run XP8 and XP9 on the track, and they're great. They won't be quiet on the street though (they squeal quite a bit). Their stopping power and fade resistance is excellent!

I have heard good things about the porterfields.........

So the Hawk pads are available?? I looked on their website and they dont even list them for the S4. Are they new?? I have used the HP Plus before on a different car with good results.

Check this guy out for some partially used Carbotech pads. They will do what you are asking for.

He has both some used XP8's and a set of unused XP10's. Plenty of life on the XP8's - I know that because they used to be mine before he got them from me. He never used them before he sold off his B6 S4. The set of XP10's are still in the original box.
