Brake Pads for Fernley... fast
Anyone have any suggestions for getting a set of 'just in case' brake pads for Fernley before Friday? I am running 50%. Just regular pads are fine, not ready for the track pad setup just yet.
I am going to call the dealer to see if I can get a box of stock pads but I suspect they are expensive, and I am sure everyone here is going to recommend something else.
I just need them quick!

Try Carbotech Engineering... Bobcats would be the closest to stock.
I use the XP-8's, which are a track pad... they make more aggressive ones as well (XP-9, XP-10).
I'm not sure if they'll be able to get them to you in time, but if they are in stock, you could ask for next-day or second-day delivery...

2Bennett is bringing me some extra Pagids...
... they might be able to bring something for you.
Dealers should have enough time to get something for your VIN (2004's are a pain that way).
There is lots of run off around the track. My peddle once went to floor before the last turn before the straight. Nice and wide, lots of room!

Called em
Thx for the help. Called em, and spoke to Matt, nice guy. They have a set of fronts ready to be shipped. Sounds like the xp8's are going to be nice for track days, and I probably should get into the habit of swaping to them and using them as the primary pads on those days.

I just re-read their info... they don't recommend bobcats for the track...
...due to the relatively low temperature range. I'm happy with the XP-8's, but will probably go to XP-9's next year, as my driving experience increases...
