Brake pads for a non-tracked car?

I've got the rattling noise that people here have said that it was the brake pads moving around when they are wearing out.
What brake pads do you recommend for someone that doesn't track the car, would like the same stopping as stock and less dust?

It's never really bothered me but I've heard that complaint from lots of people. Can't help you though as I've never worked that one through. Be interesting to see if anyone else comes up with a recommendation
