Brand New S4 ---I have a problem- what should I do..

Last week I posted about picking up my brand new silver S4 6MT, and after driving for a while, I heard thumping noise coming from behind the dash...
After 3 days of driving... My car is now at the dealership since Monday...380 miles on the odometer
Initial dianostic was that there might be vacuum inside the cooling system, and all they need is to bleed the system... then later, they said Audi also suggests to change the thermostat as well....Both were done, and it did not fix the problem.
As of yesterday, they found out that actually there is a blockage of the cooling system to certain part of the engine..AoA now is sending an engineer over to check out.... but don't know when...
So....what should I do ? I am devastated, they put me in a A4 1.8t....
What is my right at this moment ? If it is something major that they need to remove the engine or open something up.... I really don't want to have this car back.
Should I ask them to buy back the car if it's something major ? The car has this problem right off the lot, the sales person and a technician heard the same noise when I pickup the car last week, however, they suggest me to drive it a little to see if it goes away....
What should I do now ? What is my option ?

If there is something seriously wrong with the car and they have to pull the engine, I'd request a buyback by the dealer in "good faith." I don't think they are obligated to buy it back unless it's a lemon law car.
Anyhow, good luck with all that and keep us posted!

they seem like they are doing everything they can. I know how this is, my car was down for 2 weeks for a oil seal. First get a better loaner car. I had a 2001 S4 Avant as my loaner. Call them and drop by often to check status. Open a case with AoA so everything is documented. Until you hit the 30 day mark they wont even talk buy back. Technically its not until you hit your states lemon law period when they will offer a buy back. Your engine could go and they could replace it in a week and you still dont have a right for a buy back. just how things work. Hope that helps

are major problems, there has to be something you can do to get out of it.
So sorry to hear about this though. Hopefully it's either something minor that can be taken care of or you get yourself into another S4. It really is a great car!

Check out your local lemon law.
I am in Ohio, which is considered the 3rd best lemon law in the states. At Ohio, if a brandnew car sits at the workshop for more than 21x days and cannot be repaired or the dealer tried to fix the same problem more than 3x times or tried to fix (a series of problems) more than 8x times (no matter what) it is already a lemon...
A strong lemon law will help the consumer to fight, a weak lemon law will force the consumer to eat the lemon.
Go to Google and just type your state+lemon+law
You should get a better idea!
Hope it helps!
