Are burned out xenon bulbs covered for free replacement?

I had the same problem on my A4 it turned out not to be a bulb or
balast, the wires got to close to the bulb and burned through them. Ended up having to buy a new housing since I was out of warrenty. But yeah if you are under warrenty they should be covered.
