And that is for an automatic! Not bad for as tested price of $3470. Plus EPA rating of 19/26, but not available with stick and the larger engine. AWD is available. NOT an S4 but faster and cheaper. I bet there will be a lot less mecanical issues as well.

you can, but it is not apples to apples.
The Lexus is a two door, japanese sports coupe. The S4 is a 4 door, german sports sedan.
There is also a 17k price difference.
If you want to do a real comparison, put the S4 up against a GS430, or M45.

the s4 is based on the a4, but with a bigger engine,
same with the is350 to is430....
only difference is awd vs rwd...and japanese vs german....
i mean you are comparing it to a m35/45...thats the a6 mid size sport sedan...that would be like the a6....problem is no japanese car can really compare to the rs6...

1) loses 0-60
2) loses 1/4 mile
3) loses on price
4) loses on gas mileage
5) Probably loses on need for warranty work
6) probably loses on how owners are treated by
dealership
BTW, its $15K less than an S4
