Default uh...how would you repair curb damage ona polished lip?

unless you were to machine the rest of teh lip down to a certain level to a high polish finish? which is no DIY operation unles you happen to own or work at a mahcine shop?

Default While I am thinking about it...

Do you have any suggestions on where to buy them. AWE is close to me so I might go up there but if there is somewhere you think would be better/cheaper let me know. Thanks again for all your help.

Default www.wheelexperts.com and ask for Pete.

Guarantee you this is the direction meem points you, too. It's the standard answer on Roadfly.

Default Hmm... I'm actually not sure if that's him or not.

Email that addy, explain what you want, and if that's not the right Pete then ask to be forwarded to him.

Default it's easy ...

(a) sand affected spot
(b) polish spot

this is assuming you just lightly scuffed it and not that you really whacked it.

i've done this once already.

Default silver vs. brushed (warning: m3 pictures)

here's silver:

here's brushed (similar angle of wheel):

as you can see the silver has more of a matte appearance and is less flashy.

Default Thanks for the pics...

I loved the warning. I went and drove an M3 today, and loved it (besides not really being able to drive it in the winter)....I called my dealer and told them to get me a date of delivery of my S4 or I might go buy the M3 and keep my A4 for winter(slightly more expensive option), there is no reason a sold car should sit at the port for 2 weeks (unless it has a hold of course). Oh well, what to do what to do.... Thanks again for all your help.

It's crazy how much $$$ the brushed finish adds to the final product.
