Default Can the 3 blink count be altered on lane changing?

A search produced one suggestion, but can the 3 blink be re-programmed to like 1 or 2 blinks or using VAG-COM?

Default thats one of my biggest pet peves while driving...

people who pass on the right, people who drive 5 miles an hour in the left lane, and people who dont signal. Drives me nuts.

Default Re Passing on right --

What do you do when on a 2 lane interstate a car is in the left lane for 5 or 6 miles at ~ 65mph with a long string of cars behind.
Blinking means nothing to these people -- they are oblivious. Passing on the right is not against the law with a broken line and the traffic was generally driving at 70-75 with out interference from the police.
I guess that's why I love the rapid passing power of our cars.
Any other thoughts ?

Default The one touch 3 blink is one of my favorite features on the car. Most states require 3 blinks for

turns and lane changes (although almost never enforced).

Default it's necessary in MD

there is no law that says "stay to the right except to pass" and we have a lot of slow drivers in the left lane. that's why it's legal to pass on right.

Default OR has a slower cars keep right law, so folks get in the left lane and slow down to 50

in a 55 zone. They will match the speed of the car next to them anytime people try to pass too.

Default Unfortunately I was a victim of such a violation

I got a ticket for not enough blinker here in CA.
The officer thought it was a major enough violation to write me up. Go figure one blink isn't enough
