Anybody try pulling this fuse yet in a B6 S4? This may explain why the car does not really feel like a V8 until the car is rolling. I driven a number of cars with 300hp or more over the years. My B6 S4 does not feel nearly as powerful as other cars until it is rolling. Out on the highway, my S4 definitely feels like it has over 300hp, but definitely not at low speeds. I would like to try this fuse trick, but I do not want to be the first guy to do it.

But it will BE faster during agressive driving and shifting because the computer won't cause the ABS to activate or cut power at the engine due to dramatic vehicle movements.
The reason the car does not feel like 340 hp at low speeds is for two reasons. Number 1 is that it weighs like an elephant and it's extremely difficult to motivate that mass from a standstill. Our engine does not have enough torque to do it in a manner that is as you've experienced in other, lighter vehicles. Once you're at highway speeds you've got momentum on your side. For example: Try moving a 2000 lb weight on wheels from a standstill. It would be extremely hard. But, have something get it moving for you and it would then be easy enough for you to keep it moving or even to get it moving faster using just your strength.
The second reason is the DBW.
