can someone please recoment tires that will last for more than 9k miles,
i know it depends alot on driving style.
i want decent handling, dont care about noise, quality or any of that.
i just want more miles or time.
i can tame my driving down a bit too

You only got 9K out of your tires?! What brand?
Sorry, JetJockey, couldn't resist teh Repost.
JEEZ!!! Only 9K !?!?!? Might try rotating on the wheels - Insides->Outsides, when you do a F/R rotation.
You must slide your car even more than I do.

I really like the Toyo PROEXS T-R1's, look like the Goodyear F-1's with that V groove treaad and
are very quiet, really not bad in the snow, I drive them reasonably but by no means baby them. One comlaint is that they squeal a bit at the limit. They have given me great service and I know that I will get over 9000 miles out of them.

Kuhmo Ecsta ASX A/S or
Conti Extreme Contact A/S tires. I have run both and find them very similar Kuhmos are a little cheaper ahd have a higher load rating. I got 11k out of the Stock cCntis and 17K out of the Conti A/S tires. All season tires have much better tread life as compared to high performance summer tires. Plus you can run them inthe winter. As long as you don't track the car, you will not be disappointed. They also have a more compliant ride and are much less expensive. I might wonder if part of the reason that you got such poor mileage out of your current tires might be due to running them at a lower than normal tire pressure.

Do you care how much $$ it will cost? The 'best' will cost you north of $200.

Well I got 12K with PS2s and I have a very aggressive suspension set up that doesn't ...
Treat tires so well. Add to the fact that the PS2s are asymmetrical and that you cannot flip them on the wheels will make them wear out faster. Considering I also drive aggressively, I tend not to slow down in curves and brake at the last moment possible, that really puts a lot of stress and wear in the tires.
