Can't reset service reminder?
Despite specifically asking the dealer to twice to recode my service reminder for 15k, 25k etc, I am still getting reminders on the 10k marks. At 10k, I reset the reminder by holding the wrench and zero button for a few seconds but won't work this time at 20k. What gives?

Service interval can be recoded its not hard...
I just dont remember off the top of my head how. Mine is currently set at 5000 miles, since thats when I do my oil changes....

There's a TSB for this. Check JD's sig. I have the same issue. I've asked for the recoding 3 times.
I'm at 30k and my service light just came on. I've been getting the "Service in 800 miles" etc for the past few weeks. Of course service is at 35k. At least the 10k interval is correct it's just on the 0's instead of the 5's.
I think they'll just keep ignoring the request until I shove the TSB print-out up their collective ***. I've actually been really happy with Knopf's service just this one little issue that keeps annoying me.

It is not the technicians fault
Even on my B7, the reminder asks for service every 5k. I tis programed this way from teh factory I believe, and dealers really aren't comprehensive enough to resolve the issue.
